Very political with who gets in trouble so if your kid is like most teenagers and or has ADHD or something like that find another school. I must admit some of that is Jefferson County's fault.
For Some Students Great School for most not so much. Teachers are gone from school grounds by 3:30pm so if you need to talk to someone take the day off. Teachers don't put in the extra time as in most schools in this country. If a teacher is good she or he'll be there till 6pm most nights.

Whoever said it's racist school is 100% right. Didn't have to deal with Race issues until my kid went to this school. Sad that this is 2009 and we can't get past those things.
Mr Anders even though we don't see eye to eye is probably the best principal who cares about the students they have there. The Mr Harris comment is also probably someone who knows him or someone who cares about the color of the principals skin. Mr Anders however biggest draw back is lack of backbone on things as he will back slide a bit on the punishments until it's two late so that puts some kids in serious trouble with out really getting into small trouble. So parents don't have time to stop things from getting worse.
School has no control one ofmy children had been missing for a few hours. Teachers do not care and do notpay attention.
